Room for Improvement

Had a rough night. The bathroom tiles were cracked and dirty. We had no blinds, which was super awkward. Breakfast was a bit of a joke, had to pick up our own food and it was missing items. The staff could have been a bit more attentive too. Central location was nice though!

Make sure to enjoy the lovely outdoor garden space, especially in the evenings for a relaxing ambiance.

My recent stay was quite pleasant. The staff displayed remarkable attentiveness and were very helpful throughout my visit. I found my Standard Double Room spacious and comfortable, which allowed for a good night's rest after a long day of meetings.

The location was spot on, right in the center of Usk, ideal for exploring. My room, a Standard Double, had a comfy bed, a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Enjoyed the lovely garden area for relaxing drinks. Breakfast had fresh pastries and tasty cooked options. Staff were super attentive!

The staff pulled a great breakfast out of nowhere it was unbelievable and Five hungry bikers got the works with enthusiasm tea toast juice sausages and bacon jam etc. and we were welcomed even though we were just camping bikers which felt like such a nice touch, the kind of hospitality that you don't forget easily.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive but honestly the quality was fair for what we got.

I loved being just a short walk from Usk Castle and the Usk Rural Life Museum, which made my afternoon strolls all the more enjoyable. the comfortable room with fantastic accessibility to local eateries really enhanced my weekend getaway.

The charming vibe of the Salmons adds to its appeal. I loved the comfortable bed in my Superior Single Room. Every morning, the breakfast selection hit the spot. The garden view from my room brought a calming effect. The staff were the standout. They were attentive and quick to help with my queries. some areas need attention. The bathroom had a few maintenance issues that caught my eye. Not being able to open the bedroom windows for some fresh air was a downside. breakfast could improve. bacon was overcooked, and the poached eggs were harder than expected. The location is perfect—right in the center of Usk, with convenient parking.
